Next Saturday, Oct. 19th is one of our favorite beer fest in Nashville, the Tennessee Beer Festival. There are a lot of beer festivals in Nashville these days, but only a few are great. Too many are frat-boy drunk-fest. This one is not. It’s a relaxing fall day with mellow group enjoying delicious craft beer.
The fest is from Noon to 5pm at 3130 McGavok Pike on the tree-filled lawn of the beautiful Two Rivers Mansion in Donelson. You couldn’t ask for a better location for a beer festival. Proceeds from the fest support several charities in Donelson, including the Two Rivers Mansion. There will be over 30 breweries serving almost 100 different craft beers.
You’ll also be able to leave smarter than you arrived. Homebrewer extroidinaire Michael Semich will be leading educational session on homebrewing, beer and food pairing and beer styles. (Btw, if you ever get a chance to try his Jed, don’t pass it up.)
Tickets are $35 online and will be $45 at the gate. Designated driver tickets are only $15. However… we’ve got 2 tickets to give away! Here’s how to get them:
