This weekend is the second annual Tennessee Volksfest, brought to you by the good people of Rhizome Productions and Hallmark Volkswagen. Admission is free, tokens are $5 for bier and food. This is a family-friendly event so bring the kids, they’ll have their own kids zone to go crazy in. Franziskaner, Hofbräu, Krombacher and Spaten will all be pouring traditional German biers. Besides the great Deutsche bier and food, there will be live music and an antique Volkswagen car show. The old VWs were awesome last year, can’t wait to see those again. This year the event is at the Farmers Market on Rosa Park Blvd, Saturday and Sunday, Sep. 13-14 from 11am to 6pm. Check out the site for more details. Prost, y’all.
