Our friend Carl at Black Abbey Brewing shared this news with us…
“It’s our birthday! On September 26th, 2013 we opened our Fellowship Hall to the public for the first time. On September 27th, 2014 we are going to close down our back parking lot, set up a stage, bring in some bands and pour beer for you.
We are working with our friends at Rhizome Productions to put on a truly first class beer festival featuring Black Abbey beer. You can expect a high quality event with 20 different unique beers rotated throughout the day, live music from Down Home Band and The Big Rock Show, Riff’s Fine Street Food will be here slinging delicious food and for the first 300 people in the door you will get a commemorative t-shirt.”
Sounds fun! They will be re-releasing Jude, their first beer, for the occasion. Read the Black Abbey blog for the story about how they named that beer.
I know where we’ll be on the 27th, hope you’ll join us. Black Abbey is selling tickets thru Eventbrite, click here to get yours. Also, check out the the fun video they made to announce the event.
