Tomorrow is a big day for Craft Beer in Tennessee, the launch of the Tennessee Beer Run. Their website summarized the trip succinctly: 1,400 miles, 76 breweries, 21 days, 1 mini-bus.
Zack Roskop, Matt Malone, and Jessica Warblow will trek across the great state of Tennessee enjoying beers from its 77 breweries. I first heard of the tour in December when I met Zack in the taproom of Last Days Of Autumn Brewing in Knoxville. What I great idea! June and I set a goal to visit every brewery in the state in 2017, but we can’t imagine doing it in three weeks! That’s going to be insane, and a blast. It’s going to be hard enough to get it done in 365 days, doing it in 21 is super-human. Our hats our off to Zack, Matt & Jessica.
The trip is sponsored by Grayson Subaru, Tennessee Craft Beer Magazine, and Kroger Fuel. Kroger is providing the fuel for the mini-bus. How cool is that? You’ll be able to read all about the trip in Tennesse Craft Beer Magazine, look for it in an upcoming issue. Here’s the rough schedule of the tour. Be sure to check them out when they visit your town.
