Hoist a Pint for Harvey Relief!

The Texas-based Flying Saucer chain of Craft Beer Bars are launching the Flying Saucer Hurricane Harvey Relief Drive. Throughout September, you can help out in several ways:

  • Cash donations accepted in-store
  • Each Wednesday, 100% of proceeds from a selected keg tapping will be donated to the relief fund.
  • Patrons can purchase $10 raffle tickets for a chance to win a $200 Saucer gift card (drawing Oct. 1).

If you’re a regular at Flying Saucer, you know the best deal in the place is the daily fire sale, a discounted pint of tasty beer. But from Sep. 1-17, instead of the regular daily fire sale, the Flying Saucer will choose a “Harvey beer” of the day, for which $2 of each sale will be donated to the relief fund.

Sounds like a good way to drink craft beer and helping those in need. Stop by the Flying Saucer in your area and drink up (responsibly, of course)!
